7za32.exe
I use x64 Xp.

well, i think the 32 version is all cyo was able to get is such a short notice, probably that's why there still is no export to .cb7 yet, especially since .cb7 being 7zip archives would permit CR to add .xml files with it's data to the archive, similar to .rar, just not proprietary :)

Edit: on a secondary notice i've added cb7 to Wikipedia's comic book archive page, from what i know cdisplayex also supported 7z archives but did not specify any cb7 file format, so since CR seams to be the first there may be hope of creating and maintaining a Wikipedia page for CR in the future.

Hey cYo, will CB7 archives eventually support writing metadata into the archives like CBZs?

no 7za is the stand alone tool that only supports 7z and not all the other archive types (and needs no extra dlls).

7za.exe is a standalone version of 7-Zip. 7za.exe supports only 7z, zip, gzip, bzip2, Z and tar formats. 7za.exe doesn't use other modules.

7z458-x64.msi contain

7zFM.exe - 7-Zip File Manager
7-zip.dll - Plugin for Windows Shell and for 7-Zip File Manager
7zg.exe - GUI module
7z.dll - 7-Zip engine module
7z.sfx - SFX module (Windows version)
7zCon.sfx - SFX module (Console version)

Then copy 7z.exe and 7z.dll
I did it and it is working.

Are others formats needed ?
zip, gzip, bzip2, Z and tar ?
