So MS SQL is not working?

It works if you start fresh with no pre-existing comicdb.xml file. If you already have a comicdb.xml file and then switch the config to use MS SQL, you get the error in my first post.

Thanks cYo. Appreciate the effort here. I tested the .172 release, but it seems there is a new issue here with MS SQL. This time when I start ComicRack, it does not show error. And all my CR settings and CR Lists etc are intact, but with MS SQL connection CR starts with "no" Comics showing in the library at all. All my lists, and library now shows empty.

But when I close CR, and change DB connection to MySql, it shows all my comics.

cYo, thanks for digging into this issue.

vc4u - I am not sure it's setup to copy FROM one SQL database to another. Meaning, I think it was supposed to copy the data into the SQL database (either MS or MySQL) when you switched from the plain XML file only, which may explain this. cYo can of course provide better insight.

Yeah. I just tested that out, I restored my ComicDB.xml from my backup, and now my shared connection of MS SQL as well as MySql shows all comics up pretty much fine :-) ... Thanks.
