I successfully synced my Nexus 10 yesterday several times with smart lists
I wanted t do that again today and selected a new smart list to "sync with Device Nexus 10".
The dialogue opened where you see all lists syncing with a device. It was empty :(

I tried to pair a new device and a "new" Nexus showed up.

Either it was the reboot of Android (4.4.4, CynogenMod 11 one click installer) or Windows, but all sync settings were lost :(

Maybe someone could enlighten me how this Bug forum is supposed to work. Are there any answers? Is there any investigation? Is there anything anywhere indicating that the posts here are read and validated?

It's quite depressing to post problems and not even get a "Ok, I heard you". A "Let's work it out" would be sure more appreciated, though.

This might not be the right forum, since you are posting in CRW > Bugs, and not CRA.

Things to check:
- The comicrack.ini file inside of your Android's comics folder
- The config.xml file in your computer's Applications Data folder (Users > ... > AppData > Roaming > cYo > ComicRack for Win7 onward)

Comicrack.ini contains a bunch of fields identifying your Android device, but look for ID and Name.
Now, open config.xml in your preferred text editor, and search for the <Devices> block. You are looking for the following:
<Devices>
    <DeviceSyncSettings Name="..." Key="...">
      <Lists>
        <SharedList .../>
      </Lists>
      <DefaultListSettings .../>
    </DeviceSyncSettings>
</Devices>
Name does not matter so much (as your device's CRW sync settings may have a different name), but the ID in your Android's .ini file should match the Key in your CRW file. If not, if you still kept your original sync settings from before, change the Key to whatever is now in your Android's comicrack.ini

I do not understand why this would be an CRA bug. I use CRW to sync and CRW "forgot" my device, not CRA.

Anyway, it works now. I did not change anything on CRW or CRA than unpairing and repairing and now it works.

I've found that if my tablet changes IP for whatever reason, CRW will 'forget' the device.

That's a good find, thanks! Could be exactly my problem since I changed to a new ROM and had not established a fixed address in my DHCP from the beginning.

I've changed roms on both my tablets before, and with every new rom, a new pairing was needed.
Luckily you can "copy" from the old device to the new one in the Device settings.
I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!

It's clear that a new ROM needs new pairing but my paring was lost with the same ROM on several days. But I sure got different IPs until I added the device to a static address in DHCP n my router so that looks like to be the problem.
