Whenever I try to rename a file via the UI to include a period, the filename gets truncated to only include everything up to but not including the last period.

For example, if I try to rename a file to "From... Beyond", I get a file called "From...cbr".

This also affects the book.RenameFile scripting function (which is where I noticed it first and then tried testing it manually to see if it was an overall issue.)

next release will remove file parsing from the rename method.
RenameFile (newName)
will interpret the filename as a pathless filename. I also will include some shield against illegal characters ('\' etc). But this will also mean, that you can not move a file to different directory anymore with this call (no big loss i think).
