I got so excited when I saw this!

Sadly, it's not working for me at all.

First of all, the title list is buggy. When I scroll down to the US section, only about half the titles appear. I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list, then back up - magically, the list is twice as big, and I can find the title I'm looking for!

Then when I run the script, it says:
1/4 : [] # -

The only think it finds is the number of issues I'm trying to tag. The rest is lost in the shuffle.

Then it ends with an error:
Scrape ended with errors!
Open Debug Log?

If I click "Yes", nothing happens.

:(

you have to committhe values. you probbaly have the values in grey, not in black, in CR (series, number...).
Start from that.

Then the list, i never noticed, maybe it's taking long to load, could be due to the speed of the PC... but I'll take a look.

Let me know... i tell you that i scraped ALL my Disneys with this...

Thanks for the reply.

I figured out part of the problem. The US list is split in two. It has VE and YU stuck right in the middle. I would scroll down, see the end of the first part, and get confused :(

And I managed to scrape two titles successfully this morning - both from the second half of the list. Now everything else I try gives me the same errors...

EDIT

OK all is well. For some reason after I import new comics, the Series and Number are grayed out. I have to commit these values before your script will recognize them.

The two series I managed to scrape earlier had already been run through the CV scraper, which is why they worked.

Is there a quick way to commit these grayed out values after import?

If I were 600, I would suggest to read the manual... and I do anyhow... lots of things you risk to miss without that.

To ungrey, just right clik on a comic or more and under automation you'll find out Commit values...
that will do...

ciao

Ciao Mizio,
your script is awesome. I'm scraping a lot of Disney comics, and all of them are correctly recognized!!:woohoo:

Just a note: after scaping, multiple writers and inkers are separated using ";" but I think CR consider this as a single person: it will be better to use ",".

Thank you very much for your work!

Luca

I'm not sure, but if I manually edit these fields, clicking the button on the right of the field, all the names are on the same line, with the semicolon separators.
If I replace the semicolon with a comma, I see a list of writers (or inkers) one per line...

Ciao
