Ok for you who don't know I've been putting together a free to use, do as you please database, it's been working quite well, but then again I'm using it for my own personal use, but my simple script for importing information from ComicRack has had quite a few other people using it, (thanks for that guys), I will flesh out the website side of things when i get the time, and give control over to other people, at the moment it's just me approving things, which is mainly because i'm still sorting out the data, and working on apporval routines.

In the meantime if you have large comicbookdb.xml and you want me to incorparate them let me know, also any suggested bug fixes or improvents send me a mail and i'll do my best to incorpate them.

Here are the lastest versions of the scripts, they are put here to remove any confusion with the old comicbookdb.com scraping scripts, these don't use that website in anyway.

This thread is for discussion on these scripts only.

Depends on the issues you are looking for, if you make sure the series tag is good to start with the script should return some options.some issues currently have only placeholder records, returning mininial information, like date info.

If you use the basic web interface. www.chronowerks.com/comics/ if you can find it there its in the system.

The web end will be fleshed out once I get the time.

Sorry combination of a error in the script and a problem with the website side of things, this script should solve it for the moment before i upgrade the database with all the changes i've made.

No problem at all. You're doing all the heavy lifting. :)

Unfortunately, the updated script is still not pulling results.
