No it doesn't do anything special with Chapter... That's the first time I had someone mention it. But it seems useful.

Version 0.6 has been posted to the original post. This very adds story arc processing on single books.

Every week it seemed like I got a new book that was part of a storyarc. I got tired of having to find another book in that story arc just to update my newest added book. So now you can select just one book and if that book title has "part" or "chapter" in it, it will drop that and everything after it and give you the option of setting that as the story arc. Otherwise it will not detect any storyarcs. But then you can use the multiple book option that's been in here since the start.

And no, at the moment you can't select two or more unrelated books and get each one to match it's own story arc. As an example this won't detect any story arcs.

Superman - Who's great, part 1
Batman - I'm great, part 1

Maybe someday, but not today.

Ok so I lied.

Previously added feature in 0.6 "single book" processing now happens when handling multiple books. If a book doesn't match story arcs with any other book in the selection, it's title is processed by itself. You should now be able to process all newly added books in one run of the script.

V0.7 Posted. 0.6 is still in the OP so look at what you downloaded.

I made a quick pass at setting the Alternate Number based on if the Story Arc detected matches the Alternate Series provided by ComicVine. I've only tested this on a couple issues of the Trinity War in DC. I don't know how it will handle story arcs and alternate series both in the Title. That's why it's BETA and something I could use suggestions to test on.

I'm assuming there is no ETA on Alternate Number support in ComicVine itself as I have not heard anything about this lately.

0.7.2 attached to the original post.

A couple bug fixes and it now converts word numbers (two, four) to integers (2,4). Will only overwrite if the checkbox is checked for story arc overwrite.

I downloaded the 0.7.2 but it shows up in CR as 0.7.1, making sure I did indeed get the right one. Thanks for your work on this, I'm still getting stuff sorted out but I look forward to putting it to good use.
