Hi
The comic has the filename of Hellblazer #223 (2006. I'm pretty sure it's something I've not done. Thanks for any help.

What Comicrack version and OS are you using, please?

Oooops!

I am afraid I have already tried but not been able to have the script working in versions earlier than 0.9.109! I am using this to develop the script in Windows 7 64 bits... there seems to have been some changes to the scripting engine that yield the script unusable in previous versions... sorry!

For the record, I have just tried it on version 9.111 and seems to work fine. I tried lookiing for Hellblazer #223 using this version and yep, THERE IS A BUG THERE somewhere (quite slow, though, since Hellblazer is a long series).

I will focus on getting out a new version with the requested improvements, and hopefully that one will also solve this bug! Keep coming back to check, please!

Even more oooops

I could not reproduce the bug in 9.111 (previous case was due to faulty inet connection)... so it seems the problem is actually related to your version of ComicRack...

I keep working in the new version loaded with new goodies!

Cheers! :woohoo:

i dont think there will be since the info on comicvine is "Marvel Publishing". it would need code added to the script to convert as it pulls it back but then there might be others Publishers that will need done as well.

First of all, thanks for this script, it has been super handy in organizing my library.

This might have been asked for ebfore, But I was curious in a future version of the script if it would be possible to pop up some kind of status window to let you know the script is still running during long searches. Sometimes I set it running, and never see anything happen again. So I get worried if it quit or if its still searching and I need to wait longer.

I don't know if this is possible, but just thought I'd ask. Thanks again.

Just a quick round of answers...

As you know, a new, improved version is in the way... it will definitely include, among others, the following improvements:

- Progress bars to let you know it is not dead
- Local caching of searches to speed it up a lot!
- Debug mode without need to change filenames or anything

Regarding "Marvel Publishing" I hate it myself, so I will find a way to let the user choose the possibility of substituting this (and others), similar to the Imprints option.

Cheers.... :woohoo:
