My bad... :( there seems to be a bug there... I will try and fix it in the next version

Not a big deal, this is one of only two scripts I use anymore. One tiny little bug hardly overshadows how useful this thing is.

Good job, writing a ComicVine import script was on my long list of todos but I never bothered exactly because of the current limitation of the API which prevents quickly accessing issue information.

I asked about it here: www.comicvine.com/forums/api-developers/...l-workflow/383793/#6 but never followed up. It may be a good time to lean on them again.

Yep, I saw it in the Comicvine forum... I am now involved in modifying it for local caching to speed it up...

You can upload your fine script in the addons section.
This way there's one location to always keep the latest version.

Has anyone gotten this working under Windows 7? I've followed the instructions, but the script seems to want to save/read from the "current" directory, which doesn't seem to be handled the same way in Windows 7.

I'm having the same Windows 7 issue. I had to install an older version of the script to make it work. It's fine now I guess, the only problem is I can't see the cover preview, which helps in making sure I'm clicking on the correct comic from ComicVine.

Also, I've noticed that it will freeze on some comics when trying to look it up through CV. Don't even get a "not responding" message, it just stops everything.

Sorry guys... too many things going on now here (father died a moth ago, moving to a new house...). I am not sure when I will be able to get back at you with solutions. In the meantime, make sure you run this as administrator or disable uac in windows 7... in case you have not, please, go through the whole thread, since there are some solutions to similar problems through out the discussion.
