TOPIC: Long running thread

Long running thread 11 months 1 week ago #46656

Forgive me if I'm asking something ovious, I'm not very familiar with IronPython. I'm working on a script that needs to use a long running background thread, that responds to registered hooks. The problem I'm having is that each time a hook event fires, it seems to run the script in a brand new context. I tried storing a reference to thread in a global variable and enumerating over current threads, both of which act like the script was just run in a new context.

Is there anyway to store a global reference to a thread that any hook event has access to?
