All the same it seems you could be having 265 comics repeated, or at least with the same issue id... I reccomend you to use my script "SameXDifferentY" script to find them easily...

Is it any different from using the builtin duplicate filter?

P.S. As it is a time-consuming task I usually deal with duplicates on the weekends.

I don't know that specific script, but the one who comes with comicrack find comics with the same series, volume, format AND language...

My script find anything that has the same "X"

if you use "comicvine_issue" as "X", then it will find all comics scrapped as the same comic... (which is what you are looking for here)

The cons are that comics not scrapped are notd detected as duplicates (or scrapped as different comics). Also you will have to "configure it" (put comicvine_issue as value X)

The pro, is that you will find duplicates which you didn't complete o complete different the language or the format... and you will also see comics you scrapped wrongly...

As I have ALL my comics scprapped, I prefer my script... (also I use it for a bunch of different things with other values in X or Y)

Here the script and a tutorial of how using it:

comicrack.cyolito.com/forum/13-scripts/3...-y-smart-list-script

:)

a recommendation: If you have a slow pc, don't use it in many permanent smart lists, as if you begin using it in many list at once, it can make comicrack a bit slow...

Yes, sorry for not update it yet, I was planning to do it this weekend, but life happened :P (aka Iron Fist Netflix Marathon (?))

The procedure is quite complicated and I use a lot of programs and things, I don't have some easy way to do it U_U

What I do in short is first use an offline explorer with some special options to download the data from the api in many xml files (this is the worst part as I have to find where was the last comic I have in the database and find it in the api, as deleted comics change the relative position of comics all the time)

Then with a script I made in python I data mine the fields I want and export it to a csv...

After that I manually delete all redundant data from the csv (as the api answers contain group of 100 comics and many are already in the last comics of the database)

After that I import this csv in a sql database a specially made for this with all comicvine data.

After that I export with an sql script I have saved the data in the way I want it (after anaysing all the data in the database)

After that I manually add and delete some data from the csv to convert it to my mcl format...

It is not indeed that difficult, but I have it all automated in a very personal way XD

If I find an easier wat to do it sometime, I promise to put it in the forum...

The complete process take me about 2 hours (1 hour if I am lucky), and 80% of the time is waiting for the data files to download..., I promise to upload and updated mcl file as soon as I can this week :P

Of course you can always update it manually, it is really easy to do it that way, but that would take months XD

BTW: Sorry everyone for being a bit lost from my projects here lately, I have been working in other projects (wikia, microheroes, etc) and work and study is taking me a lot of time also... (reading all the comics I have in my read list too :P)

Thank you - this script has been really useful during my reorganizing effort.
I had been stuck on it for a year (as going to each comicvine page to check if I had missing issues was a pain). Now I am all done thanks to this.

Updated Database - Till April 28 (today)

mega.nz/#!5UdjBarQ!eSegM99Z02jLjLI0o1UcLsyhzwY-tPCqxalUet8Qwz8

I had some problems with the comicvine api this time, so it can have some comics missing (I hope not), but 99% of them are there.

I also Found a bug with repeated comics counter, that counts unrecognised comics and unscraped comics as repeats... I will try to fix it when I have some time (I am spending A LOT of time on a new project I will post when it is usable for testing :))
