Hi!
I just recently encountered this issue. The scraper script can not find many comics. E.g. "James Bond - Kill Chain 006"
I know it is there on comicvine. If I copy the series title from comicvine ("James Bond: Kill Chain") into the search field it still does not find anything. If I type only "James Bond" it finds five titles named exactly "James Bond", but nothing else. It is true for other titles as well, this is just one example. It was not like this in the past. What did go wrong? (in reality i did not use the quotation marks for the titles of course, just in this post)
Thank you!

I'm seeing this same behavior but if I retype in the series name, it sometimes works. Amazingly, it picks up the exact series I'm looking for - even if I type in just "batman" for "Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II". Other times, I have to try different variations.

It was ok some weeks ago, when I used it the last time. This behavior is new to me.

Having the exact same issue as Bigby65. Mainly happens to anything with a hyphen, colon or slash. If you put the first name of the comic in by itself it normally finds the exact comic you're looking for without having to search through the list. The Gift and the Curse....

I tried what you mentioned. Staying with the above example:
"James Bond - Kill Chain" (the series title the scraper extracts from the filename) returns zero results
"James Bond: Kill Chain" (the series title exactly on comicvine) returns zero results
"James Bond" returns four series all named exactly "James Bond"
"James" returns lots of results, the first one being "James Bond: Kill Chain" auto selected
so yes, this workaround does work for me as well, but only with one word typed into the search field.
Thanks, let's hope they fix it soon.

One word searches seems to be the way to go for now. It is almost like the search engine has an issue with anything that isn't a character or number like dashes, spaces, etc.

Yeah - just now, "Amazing Spider-Man: Venom Inc. Omega" - literally the only thing that worked was searching "Amazing" and the correct comic was the first result. "Spider" wouldn't even pick up anything. Wild.
