Hello fellow ComicRack script writers.

I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the API that is available to scriptwriters via the ComicRack objects that our scripts interact with.

For example, I was browsing through the source code for someone else's script, and I saw this method:

ComicRack.App.AskQuestion(...)

It looks pretty handy, and I can probably figure out what it does by just playing around with it a bit...but are there other handy methods from ComicRack.App that I could use? May something that lets me show a message?

Similarly, my script uses a number of (well, actually most of) the fields in the eComic book object described here (i.e. Title, Publisher, Summary, etc):

comicrack.cyolito.com/faqs/28-comicrack-scripts

But I also use a few fields that aren't listed there, like 'ShadowSeries' and 'ShadowNumber', and while browsing around, I found that the 'FileName' and 'FileDirectory' fields are also available for these eComic objects. Does anyone know of any other handy "hidden" API like this that script writers can make use of?

Or even better, is there some way I can figure out more of this API for myself (assuming we don't have full access to browse cYo's source code)?

I have been using the python function
dir(object)
to find what methods and fields are available to books, pages etc.

I can post them up here if you would like.

Fantastic! That is exactly the kind of tip I was hoping for. :)
