New version: 0.2
- Better handling of series when you read chunks inside it

What this means is: if you have a series with numbers 1 to 100 and you read 10 to 20 and 40 to 50, it will show the next ones as 1, 21, 51

Does this script take into account story arcs and continuity?

I've been using CR for 2 months now and only read a couple of comics - the rest of my time has been spent scraping and organising my library so haven't had a chance to test this out really...

Thx for your script pescuma! :)

But you need to explain how use it, because not all people are genius...

It took me some time to understand how to make it work...

I explain for people like me:

Create new smartlist, in parameter choose "User Scripts" and choose "Next issues to read"

And can you add option box to choose read percentage?

edit: I see that you use name of FOLDER for the serie, can you use instead name of serie in database (Info\details)? because i have not all books of one serie in one folder.
sometimes there is for example book 1 in folder A and book 2 in folder B...

another question:
sometimes i read serie not in order... and for example i read tome 3 only, and there are 5 tomes in the serie.
i want your script to show me tome 1 to read... is it possible?

Because 600 was complaining that I disapeared, I decided to release a new version :)

Now it has 4 different options:
- List next books to read in series that you already started reading (1 comic, not including first editions)
- List next 4 books to read in series that you already started reading (4 comics in sequence, not including first editions)
- List next books to read in all series (1 comic, including first editions)
- List next 4 books to read in all series (4 comics in sequence, including first editions)

I made this for tablets, so you can copy some issues to the tablet (instead of only one as before).

The way that I use it is: I create a simple list with all the comics that I want to read in the tablet and use this list as a input to a second smartlist that uses the 'List next 4 books to read in all series'

Download at: NextIssuesToRead-0.3.crplugin

Nope, it is not possible, afaik. But you can edit the sources to change the percentage yourself. What do you think is a good value?

Sorry, I don't understand. The script does not use the folder name for anything, it only uses the information that comicrack reports...

It already does that. In that case it will show 1 and 4 as the next possibilities.

man I have been running version .2 and was about to give up. I have been trying to figure out how to get a few issues at a time. The .3 upgrade is awesome. So many times the book ends on a cliffhanger and you want to read the next book.

Hey man, first of all, THANK YOU for making this script! This script is in my top 3.

I was wonder if something happened to it with the most recent round of updates? None of my lists are working anymore, and when I try to change one or create a new one, I'll select the script in the dropdown and press ok. Then when you realize something is wrong and edit the smartlist, the script is no longer selected.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm not able to reproduce here. When editing it works fine. Did you try to create a new smart list to see if that works?
