TOPIC: Localizer with \"Progress Bar\" and Find->Replace

Localizer with \"Progress Bar\" and Find->Replace 11 years 7 months ago #27

Hi Cyo,

is it hard to place a \"progress bar\" or at least change the status bar message \"860 Text(s)\" to \"212 of 860\".

The scroll bar gives a hint, but it is far from accurate.

There are repeated expressions (\"Workspace\", \"Smart List\", etc.) that must be kept uniform after translated. To avoid two different translations and accelerate the work, a \"Find->Replace\" feature would be very fine, too.

Just two suggestions.

yep, like i said: duck tape :)

but
there's a quick find, you can sort by column and quickly replace text entries by ctrl-C/Ctrl-v in the list.

Localizer will develop with the next release to bring in a difference list, to quickly review any changes between versions.

After working with localizer let me make some sugestions.

1. Little Bug - when you copy and paste text to another entry bold doesn't disappear as it should. when you edit field manually it works correct.

2. In Polish there is shortcut 'right_alt+o' for a local letter. When typing it in search field focus goes to 'Pack' menu and i'm unable to type it there. I must paste it from clipboard...

3. In text area where you type translations i'm unable to Cut text with Ctrl+x shortcut. When i do that it asks for closing program. It was quite of an annoyance.

4. I would love to have 'Clear' button next to search field to easy delete searched text.

5. Last but not least - it would be great to have option to export translated text to simple txt. Global spellchecking would be possible then.

All in all - localizer is very nice tool. I was big help in translating. Thx!
