Something I figured out recently is how to debug scripts with Visual Studio.

cYo suggested I make a wiki article so here it is for anyone interested:

Linky

Thanks cYo for adding this feature :)

I actually ran into a problem... i'm no expert in VS2010, but after some successfull debug, I cannot debug anymore... the error i have is "The breakpoint will not be hit, no symbols have been loaded".
I check the Modules window and clearly comickrack.exe Symbol status is Cannot find or open the PDB file.
As i said it was working... as of a sudden it stopped. I tried several setups in debug/options but unsuccessfuly.. I also know this is not maybe the best forum to post this, but googling brought me to several solution of which none worked...

Thanks, any help appreciated...

I'm using VS2010 Professional, never worked for me...

maybe it only works with VS2010 Express?

I managed to make this work eventually...

please check:
- the comicrack.ini file is reset every installation of CR... so you need to change it every new release.
- you have to change the debug value to true AND remove the ; at the beginning of the line
- I reinstalled, after cleaning completely the registry with CCleaner, VS and SP1

The debug setup looks like is not influencing the fact that debug is working with CR...

page me in private with your mail, i'll try to send you my setup

Ciao,
