No joy. Tried both methods.

... snip ....

In the previous version I removed the check for “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package”.
Mainly because I didn't think it was necessary anymore.
But looking back at my own change logs..... I see that I added that check in bcr 1.20:
Check at startup if “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package” is installed (needed for FreeImage.dll)

So....maybe you can install that redistributable?
And I shouldn't just remove checks that I apparently added for a reason.....
Let me know if that works, so I can enable those checks again.

Apologies for taking so long. But I seemed to have had that package installed because when I attempted to install it, the only options I had were Repair and Remove. I tried Repair and am still getting the Freeimage.dll seems to be missing error message when starting the server.

Complete uninstall did not work nor running install and/or comicrack as Administrator work.

Attempted to rollback but I guess I would have to rollback my version of ComicRack too.

Darn. I really like your app. ;)

BTW, rolling back also did not work with the same error message. So something with my system seems to be busted/corrupt. Not sure what to try next.

Thank you for the hard and awesome work you've done on this plug-in.

Do you know if it would be possible to run the Viewer part as a stand-alone app on a Synology? I already have a web server and it can run Python.

Thank you for your time!

Cheers

Hi

The plugin can't run standalone as it needs ComicRack to get the comics.

Does this sync progress with comicrack?
It doesn't for me.

if you enable the checkbox "Using Comic Rack Progression" in de plugin's interface in comicrack, then it should sync the last page read of a comic with comicrack.
However, this is a feature that I didn't test thoroughly, as I don't use it myself, so it may be broken.

Hello, your viewer looks fantastic. Good work! :)

Now, any chance you support smart panels with it? (regular JSON file with relative panel/balloons definitions left/top/width/height, rectangle/ellipse, page ID, panel num, color, ...)

I did that ofc.

Any chance of you taking a look at this?
