I've been reading Invincible lately, trying to catch up. In issue 44, I noticed (on the fourth page of actual comic panels) what appeared to be a Nintendo Wii underneath Mark's TV. Then, on page 8, there's a guy wearing a shirt with "Francis," a character from Super Paper Mario, clearly displayed on the front (and the phrase "hi technicaaaal!" Which Francis often says). Am I the first person to notice these references? And are there more? My eyes are now peeled for this kind of thing.

EDIT: Issue 50, page 12 (counting the double page spreads as two pages) -- the Guardians of the Globe are playing Super Mario Galaxy.

And according to this article, it would seem that Kirkman is a Mario fan.
