On a happier note here is an updated comics.com template. You don't have to edit the next page regex now. Just put in the start page and it should work.
Well that particular site has many webcomics, most of which follow the same site layout. I didn't feel like creating a file for every webcomic there, so anyone can modify the template for a particular webcomic.
Thank you so much, Stonepaw... good karma for you with this ! :cheer: :cheer:
This 'web template' is so good that I feel it should be posted in a new thread, where users would find it easily, and use it to their liking. If you don't mind, I'll post it today, with all credits to our superhero.. Captain Stonepaw !! :)

I'll extend the browser scraper in the next release to support such chained links. Only the last regex will be the "Next" link. This keep backward compatibility and should support such scenarios.
Thanks cYo, this would be just great !

BTW: I never thought of WebComic "templates"
I've always been around the "independent" WebComics.
We must give it to Stonepaw, as web templates is a great idea. This would enhance the usage of webcomics for inexperienced users (like me ;) ) who would find it easier to edit a template, rather than make a cbw from scratch.

Edit: I was just thinking, can we have a similar web template for gocomics.com ?

Here's an updated high resolution WebComic for Peanuts (only year 2010 - as downloading thousands of pages is not my thing).

You need ComicRack 0.9.120+ for this to work.

Thanks cYo.. now we can scrape multiple levels in a WebComic... as Garfield says "This could be the start of something beautiful" :)

I have a query though..

Peanuts ran from October 2, 1950, to February 13, 2000 (the day after Schulz's death), continuing in reruns afterwards. Now, I have modified your Peanuts_2010.cbw to begin from 1950-10-02. I do not want the comic strips beyond 2000-02-13, as they are re-runs.

Now, is there a way to limit a WebComic from updating beyond a certain desired date ?
