Avengers Vs. X-Men is a crossover story arc that takes place in the Marvel Comics Universe within the pages of the main 12-issue limited series as well as the 6-issue AVX: VS tie-in series. Also, most Avengers and X-Men related titles will be crossover tie-ins as well such as Avengers, New Avengers, Secret Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine & the X-Men, and X-Men Legacy. The creative team behind the story line will be writers Jason Aaron, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and Jonathan Hickman with drawings by fan-favorites Olivier Coipel, Andy Kubert, and John Romita, Jr. The books have release dates between March and September 2012. Annihilation: Conquest is a cosmic crossover story arc that takes place within the Marvel Comics Universe. The original books published were released between June 2007 and July 2008. This event was the resulting aftermath of the Annihilation event, and also through the character Nova, had a slight tie-in with the Civil War aftermath event, The Initiative.

After Annihilus had his way with the Marvel cosmic universe for a while there, Ultron decided to take his turn at the plate, and with the assistance of the Phalanx, tried to knock a home run for evil out the park. Luckily for the Marvel Universe, there are a crap load of heroes out there with the cosmic might to still challenge a humongous galactic foe even after all the devastation that the Annihilation Wave inflicted. Now, plenty was still going on down on Earth with The Initiative and getting ready for the Secret Invasion (thanks again to Annihilus), which all made sure that Earth's heroes didn't steal the cosmic spotlight. When you know that there is a powerful villain who has conquered a whole dimension, you have to wonder when are they going to wreak havoc on a colossal blockbuster scale. Well, Annihilus finally hatched a plan to do just that within the pages of this story arc that kept the off-world heroes across the universe pretty busy trying to stop him while most of Earth's heroes were dealing with their little Civil War. Infinity Gauntlet is a crossover story arc that takes place within the Marvel Comics Universe. The original books published were released between February 1990 and February 1992 in the pages of the main limited series Infinity Gauntlet and tie-ins within several other titles such as Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme & The Incredible Hulk.

Thanos is at it again! Almost 20 years later after his last attempts to become a great omnipotent force, Thanos not only manages to come back from the dead, but ends up taking on practically every cosmic entity within the Marvel Universe. And to prove that he is the hero's master, he will put on his costume and become him...after he shoots and buries him six feet under!
