I admit to being new with all of this, so correct me if I am wrong, but my list (which was clearly stated as just a smart list) would still benefit those that have all their proper tags (Scraper obviously helps). Then again, as I said, maybe not... Does it preserve the order of the list.. Because I did end up tweaking the order just a bit... That should still remain, no?

Either way.. Could anyone suggest a better way to display this list? Anyway to make it a legitimate list that anyone could use (with or without tags)? Anyway to have it simply print out a list?

For what it is worth, The order was done based off of research... As I read the series, I am putting things in the order that I think benefit the reader the most, though I am keeping that on a LIST here on the Vine.

Wow.. Okay.. so I am a space cadet...

I think I actually did make a reglar list a while back and just never posted it...

If I am not mistaken, this should work. It is the list that I am using after all my time researching it. So far, so good.

You did not give me time enough to explain to you how to get there (the smart list only gives filtering instructions so no info on order is provided - you needed to create a regular list and the copy the comics to it from the original smart list - but i guess you figured it out. Thanks!

There has to be a chronological order for an event (see the Siege list). The list does not help me in telling me in which order should I place them... the "alternate series" filed is blank, and "position" does not help either.

I suggest you add an "alternate number" like you have placed the files in your library (you can use the autonumber wizard script for this), and then re-post this (obviously as a regular list, not a smart list).

Hi,

I imported the Reading List from the first post but I am a little confused. Do reading lists have sorting built it? It seems to be respecting whatever sorting I used last in my library, which obviously isn't right. How do I have the books ordered in the correct timeline for the series?

Im VERY noob to all this, could someone hand hold me in how to use one of these reading lists/smart lists to create a list in my comicrack... how to import/use your list for my books?

trying to read Civil War and cant find an order that is agreed upon ...

PS. If I have a list of MCV books, scraped from ComicVine could i simply order by Published? Am I an idiot for thinking they published them in intended reading order???
