So I've been a fan of comics for a while, but could never get it together to collect more than one or 2 over the years....cue the discovery of digital comics!

In the last week or so I've collected a few titles, but what I'm wanting is some tips on good titles to go for.

I'm mainly a DC/Marvel fan and would like any tips on good story arcs there, but also any decent smaller/indie titles.

Also, I got into it because my friend had the Planet Hulk/ WWHulk arcs and the civil war arc, and gave me copies to get me going (nice guy, eh?) but he doesn't use a reading list he just decides to read random issues (says he used to have lists but he cant remember them :pinch: ) so before I get started on them, I was hoping one of you lovely peeps can throw me a bone with a good order for them?

Thanks in advance
Snow

Sorry, no idea about the order, but hello anyway !
If you believe that your thoughts originate inside your brain, do you also believe that television shows are made inside your television set?

The ComicVine site is a great tool. I use it to search for story arc/ alternate series orders.

For marvel I'd recommend going through this site:

www.comicbookherald.com/the-complete-mar...reading-order-guide/

The reason for the site it mainly to read avengers vs xmen which got me Into comics again lol. Also another set of comics to read is the marvel cosmic universe which collides wit earth during secret invasion then go their own way again.

comicrack.cyolito.com/forum/23-reading-l...-universe-storylines

As for dc comics a good place to start is any first issue for new 52 but if u want to read the stories b4 it then I'd recommend looking at this site

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publication_hist...ics_crossover_events

Start wit crisis of inf earth then to Armageddon 2001 (personal fav), emerald twilight, dawn, & fallout, zero hour, final night, day of judgment, green lantern rebirth and so on.

For indies it depends on ur taste of genre but I recommend xo manowar, saga (A MUST), invincible, the bunker, outcast, manhattan projects, east of west. Sorry if I scared u with all the info but hope u like the stories
