So many thanks!!!!!!

I love the "hidden" feature... no more going over and over on promos, cards and flyers!

Cheers!

+1 karma for the stable version! :)

Also, fileless scraping is re-working now!

The hidden feature is just an easier way to add the CVDBSKIP tag to any comic books that you want the scraper to permanently ignore. Just hold down the control key when you click on the "Skip" button, and the scraper will now add a CVDBSKIP tag to your comic. This tag makes the scraper automatically skip over your comic during future scrapes, so use it with care!
Well, I am holding down the Ctrl key while hitting the skip button, but it is not adding the CVBDSKIP tag to my comic. Help needed...!

Same here... CTRL+Skip not working... ?

There are several places where Skip is offered, so it may be active only in some of them:

- When no series is found andd you are offered to type in series name - Doesn't work
- When several series are found and you are offered to select one - Works
- When issues are presented - Works

Ah ha ha ha ha ... I totally forgot about that one. I'll fix it for 1.0.42, and that should be the only difference between 1.0.41 and 1.0.42. I'll try to get to it today if I can.

Ok, I've added the new "hidden feature" to the Skip button in the search dialog as well. Version 1.0.42 is now available--how's that for fast turnaround time? :)

Well, it was really 600's idea, I just came up with a way to integrate it into CVS (i.e. as a "hidden" feature, so it won't cause problems for people who never read these forums or the manual.)

600, is this working for you now?

Yes...now it is working fine! On holding the Ctrl key, the Skip button now shows little '-' signs which were not seen earlier:

All-in-all, highly appreciated! :)

p.s. CVS and ComicRack version numbers used to be in sync, but you beat cYo this time as he didn't release the new version 2 weeks in a row now.. :P

I'm using Comic Vine Scraper from a while but sometimes I'm having some trouble.
I Scrap a group of comics but when i restart ComicRack some of them haven't non more the info gathered.
For example: I scraper all my Mini series of DC Comics yesterday and today only a few of Mini keep their info.
All my eComics are .cbz, the "Allow writing of Book into files" is flag, I'm using Comics Vine scraper 1.0.42 and comicrack 0.9.141 on a Windows 7 64bit machine.

It's funny that some comics keep the information and some other not.

Someone can show me my mistake so can I solve my problem?

Thanks

P.S. Another thing i can't solve (but I don’t think is related to CVS) is: in the info (CTR+i) windows Comicrack doesn't save the store the user-inputted word i put on those fields.

This sometimes happens also with me, and I'm still not able to pinpoint the cause..

From the Info dialog, just turn the Proposed values = No, and your inputted word(s) will be retained.
