I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but I'm getting killed by a real pain of a bug, and all the links for versions 138 have been pulled so I can't downgrade.

I always remove ads from my comics, but ever since I upgraded to 139 earlier today, anytime I am reading a CBR and change the type of a page from "Story" to "Deleted", the program locks up as soon as I try to navigate off that page. I've tried just scrolling off one page to the next, using the "Page Up/Page Down" keys, and using the GUI navigation arrows, but it happens for all, and it happens whether I do it by right-clicking on the image itself in the viewer, as well as when I right-click on the page thumbnail in the Pages navigator (assuming I am viewing the page in question). The only way I can delete a page without the app freezing is if I delete it in the Pages navigator WITHOUT viewing it.

Any thoughts?

I think this is related to the same thing I'm seeing. Try changing some metadata and see if that also freezes it

@doug:
the delete page in reader bug.
Try to disable query caching and see if it helps.

Thanks, cYo! Glad to know it's not just something screwed up on my end.

I'll roll back to 136 in the meantime, and look forward to 140. :D

I posted this in the thread of the other version but no answer, and because this "bug"
persist i'll post it here:
1) if i have chapter is this sequence
98->99->100->101 or 8->9->10->11
CR display first the chapters in this order
100->101->98->99 or 10->11->8->9
and if i add a zero in the first two chapter CR recognize the right order: 098->099->100->101
this problem occur even when the sequence is like this 8->9->10->11
So it is an error about the order recognizing algoritm

What do you mean by "chapters"? I'm not sure where that is used. If you mean "pages", there's a good reason why ComicRack doesn't do what you want, but I want to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

i think you are a comic reader... however in mangas in every volume there are some chapters so the structure of the archive is like this

File: Manga_Name.zip
Structure of file: Manga_Name\Chapter_N°\Pages_N°

so if the chapters' numbers (Chapter_N°) are in the sequence i said before (98->99->100->101 or 8->9->10->11), Cr display them like this 100->101->98->99 or 10->11->8->9

The same thing happen with the Pages' Number(Pages_N°), i noticed that the order of Chapters and pages is right only if the digit of pages/chapters' Number is the same,
For example if we have 100 chapters in an archive all of them must have 3 digit so they must appear like this:
001,.......,010,......,066,......100
the same thing is applied to the pages, in fact i you don't respect this condition you'll have a messy order, i think the problem lies here i don't know how to debug the program and where's the piece of code reguarding this matter, but i encoutered this error also when i've dome my programming (nothis big only basic c) exam about C.
I hope you'll fix it and that you understand what i said, unfortunatly english is not my language.

one more thing: how do I get the "realistic display" to deactivate for thumbnails? Not seeing a setting for it

@ cYo

Maybe both settings could be enabled by the checkbox in options
