This was another fast ComicRack update in the 0.9.137 category. We seem to have moved to RTM with the 0.9.140 build. Here are my thoughts on this release..
* CHANGE: Further speedup of list drawing (see OptimizedListScrolling in ComicRack.ini to turn off)
* CHANGE: Optimized library tree rebuilding
* CHANGE: Further optimizations for query cacher execution and update logic
Yes, it appears faster, even slightly fast than 0.9.139.
* CHANGE: Name parser now always correctly handles c2c
Finally, c2c and noads are shown their way out of the parsed series name. But, still if a filename includes TPB or HC, the parsed name includes these. Maybe next release will take care of the TPB & HC from the parsed name..
* CHANGE: When opening a new book zoom is reset to 100%
* CHANGE: Added Hardcover to the standard formats list
* CHANGE: If only a single book is selected in the list, the file name is displayed in the statusbar
Appreciated
* CHANGE: Reduced possible thickness of 3D book display
Yes, it is a bit smaller in thickness, but yet it could be trimmed further:
Here, i would like to quote this post, and further my request for width/height/dimensions fields in the catalog tab:

In all fairness, to calculate the proper book dimensions you'll need to be able to enter the width and the height of the book, as well as some "factor" representing page thickness. I personally see it as a nice to have.
* CHANGE: Added "Set to all" button to list layout editor
Will come in handy sometimes!
* NEW: Added "Icons" column in comic list to show all the icons (format, publisher etc.)
Currently, this was really not needed. Icons are eye-candy, and are best suited to the tiles view or the thumbnails view (where, incidentally, they are lacking). The details view is more suited for organizational/overview purposes, where these, in my opinion, would be neglected. Still, it is an option, and users who like this feature can use it , while others can continue unaffected. However, in future, if we have support for characters and other icons, and the number of icons to be shown on a single book increase to a high number, this might prove useful. But, we will re-review it then.
* CHANGE: Fixed bottom margin of explorer view if no plugin pane is visible
Again, a 'duh' moment for me ...
This is ComicRack 11.04 RTM, and it rocks! Need I say more?
4.5 outta 5.
p.s. I downloaded it via the torrent, and it was a great idea. Now, seed you leechers, seed!!
