Finally I came around and finished a new build.

This build adds the option to customize the list counter gauges. Also there's now a direct menu entry to visit the web page for a comic.

This version also comes with a quick introduction manual that is automatically opened the first time ComicRack is run. Thanks to 600WPMPO for all the hard work he puts into these manuals (don't miss to download his full manual or visit his ComicRack online manual).

UPDATE: There were 2 small bugs in the initial 0.9.143 release. If you downloaded it in the first 5 hours, redownload the updated package.

Thanks, cYo... The quick manual is a great addition...

One question, though:
NEW: Support for .xml sidecar files for initial book information (currently only read, not updated)

I am guessing this is external comicinfo.xml files to be read to fill the comics info... am I right? If that is so, I also guess they have to be named comicfilename.xml...?

It was an old script that did not have a Package.ini file... I created it, removed the old xml file and added the info to the .py file and it is all set. It did not appear in the scripts lists. Now it does... However, I am not sure if it was this what solved it or the new build :( - Thanks anyway! It is working nos

With the fact now scripts REALLY run on their own space, some scripts may have issues... i fiexd (i Hope) mines, i suggest to check them all... I know that this means that the code is not perfect... but alas, we're only humans...

thanks cYo, my bugs are fixed and I have a REALLY quick web link !!!

Two of my favorite scripts are toast. :(

Import tags from filename and Arturo's Toolbox. I made heavy use of them during a recent database rebuild, and it saddens me they no longer function. Can anyone give me a hand in fixing them, please?

I'm little surprised about these script issues. I rewrote the script setup routines to truly box them, but otherwise they should work.

What I did was repackage it in the latest format and install it as a crplugin...
