This is actually occurring in .117 as well, just haven't gotten around to posting it until now. The Filename filter in the upper right of the browser doesn't actually filter correctly. It seems to pull in extraneous books, even if the filename does not contain the text

This should be actually fixed in .118. The Filter always searched through all fields.

So, is there a public directory address? Do we need to set something up? (I see if you go to share and publically list it asks you to fill one in...I was gonna put the (partial) library I currently have on this machine open for try-it-out purposes.)

EDIT: I know I've got port forwarding set correctly cuz I can connect to myself, but I don't see myself on the 'show public' list. So yeah, howzzat work?

This server now holds a public directory. You just have to tick the announce checkbox and optionally type in a description.

If you're machine is directly connected to the internet this is it. If you're behind a a firewall/router checkout the network wiki on how to set that up.

Normally you can leave the public address empty. ComicRack will find the public ip of your machine/firewall/router. But you can override this.

Lets make an example on why:

You are behind a router. You set it up to forward external port 6000 to your internal comicrack server on port 7612. You're has some dns entry like router.myserver.com.
In this setup you would have to set the public address to "router.myserver.com:6000".

But normally you can keep it empty. Even if you have a dynamic ip, ComicRack will determine that ip and use it for the announcement. BUT: the ip is only taken at startup. To reanounce a different ip you must restart ComicRack.

AND: You will not see your own server in your own list :)

Hope someone puts this into the wiki...

Oh, okay, so you just set the address to what people would be typing manually, if you want it to be something funny/use a different external port/etc? I gotcha.

At any rate, mine is up right now, so if somebody can see it that's a big whoo-hoo.
