Thanks for the update, and I hope that you're feeling better.

Unfortunately, I'm not currently in possession of a touch-screen so I'm unable to play with the cool new multi-touch features.

However, one thing I did notice is that the start-up time seems to have drastically increased with this latest version. On my system, it now takes four seconds from launching the executable before the splash-screen is displayed, and around eight seconds before ComicRack is completely loaded and usable. This is around twice as long as 0.9.121 took to launch on my system. Is this due to upgrading to .NET 4.0? The new multi-touch code? Or something else?

Thanks for all your hard work on ComicRack, it's appreciated.

I think this is the new .NET 4 code. I noticed something similar on my machine. But the behavior is only the first time you start ComicRack in a Windows session.

I still get the longer start-up time after launching ComicRack multiple times in the same session, and even after rebooting the computer and launching ComicRack multiple times again.

Anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?

BTW, did you let the installer optimize the setup?

cYo... thanks for the new version!

I'm pretty excited to start experimenting with it... I updated my NET framework during installation. One of the first things I'm noticing is that I am getting a lot of unhandled exception errors as I navigate through browser screens, when switching between lists, etc...

I'm on Windows 7 x64.

I'll let you know more as I continue to experiment.

*edit* Right now I'm getting an "encountered a problem" error message every time I launch ComicRack. It will let me resume and keep using the app, but it happens again when the next time I launch. I have some files I need to sort and process, but I'm wondering if I should roll back to the previous version before I continue?

Woohoo, new version ! Can't wait to try it :)
Can I upgrade directly from the software or should I uninstall/reinstall the new version ?
What if I like the older one better, can I downgrade ?

Great update !!! Thanks again cYo :)

During the installation, the setup asks for updating .Net and after downloading and updating the framework, it asks for restart

It says if you restart later, applications based on .net4 may stop working. I think this is meant for the particular logon session only ? I clicked restart later, and let ComicRack complete its installation, and then manually restarted, and everything was fine. Am I correct ? If not, please tell me as this has to go into the CR Manual Chapter..

By the way, here is the link for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer), which you may need for installing ComicRack offline or on net slow (dial-up) machines.

I would assume this is a Microsoft message from the .Net installation and there's probably not much cYo can do about the wording. Nine times out of ten, you can use your .Net apps immediately after an install/upgrade. As with any Microsoft installation I'm sure it will vary by system and configuration :D

Hey cYo, glad you're feeling better, and thanks for another update.

I'm getting a (bit) slower startup (which i can live with pretty easily), but the application overall feels a bit sluggish, specially scrolling the library, which didn't happen before.

Loving the new touch settings :-)
