App looks great and the reader is awesome.

Big problems that I see right away:

The sync doesn't respect the 'Only unread' setting, at least on the first pass. (I mentioned this in the desktop thread as well.)

A bigger problem for me - I sent over a list (not a smart list, a normal list) and it DOESN'T SAVE THE POSITION SETTINGS IN THE LIST. This is a huge problem because I sort all my normal reading lists by position and this totally screws them all up. I can't seem to find a way to do this - if I choose the option to not sort (which says they're displayed in the original order) it just sorts them alphabetically by series. :/

Is there no way to edit metadata yet? For that matter, is there any way to SEE metadata while you have a book open? I can get to it by a long tap in the library browser but I can't see how to access it with an open book.

Syncing read/unread status back and forth works perfectly, at least, but it still doesn't update the book lists based on the 'only unread' setting.

The "Not sorted" should work actually. I will look into it.

You can view the meta data by clicking on the cover left/top in the reader.
Currently you can only edit the ratings and bookmarks (and these will sync back).
I'm baffled by your unread problem... Do you have this problem just with reading lists or also with smartlists.

I'm really happy about the fast feedback I get from you guys. I'll try to fix the bugs and suggestions as soon as possible. Android Market is nice in this case.

Oh, I see now regarding the metadata, thanks. (FWIW I wasn't expecting full metadata editing on the first build, hehehe, I was just a little befuddled by why I couldn't figure out where it was hiding with an open book. I'm a dummy though.)

I don't really USE smartlists for anything, actually, but let me whip some together and see what happens. Reports shortly.

'Only unread' setting DOES work with smartlists. It's just normal reading lists that are the problem.

The 'not sorted' settings don't remember the sorting from the desktop app, even with a smartlist. (This one was NOT sorted by position.)

I also realize this is probably something for down the road, but I reallly wish this mobile library browser supported stacking right now. ^^;

Quick question cYo. Is there a way for me to get the actual app since I don't have any android stuff I can't download it from the android market. This way, I could make a French language pack for this new nifty thing :) .

I already found an android emulator that would lalow me to actually see what does what :)

Anyways, not sure the language packes are even supported yet but great job as always ;)
Working on re-uploading the FR manuals.

I'm really liking it as well, however I've had a few crashes on my Acer Iconia 500.

Also, I keep all my comic files on an external SD card, so I'd like an option in the app to navigate there. Right now I don't see any way to get to the /mnt/external_sd directory.

Last thing might be some tooltips or an example screen of what all the icons do when you tap the center of the screen in reader mode, sure are a lot of options there!

Oh, and I just know you're already working on connecting to remote libraries so I won't even mention it :P

Awesome work so far, I'll be paying for this as soon as you release it!

Did the reader crash on CBR files?
Use the sync feature.

There is a big HELP button in the about dialog that explains everything :)

Wait, so you're saying that even though I can't set the location of my eComic files to /mnt/external_sd/comics in the preferences of the app, I can do this through the sync tool somehow?

Edit - I was reading only cbz files, but it crashes repeatedly when switching from portrait to landscape.

ok I look into this.
Are your external mount points also available as subfolders in "/mnt/"

Mine is also a Iconia A500 3.2 and I can wobble it around as much as I like I'm not getting an out of memory error (that's what seems to be the problem).
