So, I went and bought a second hand Folio 100. Not the best device, I'll admint, but for 100€, it does more than okay.
The guy from whom I bought it had flashed and loaded a custom rom based on Android 2.2
Loaded comicrack, synced comics, all was good with the world.

BUUUUUUT - I got curious, as you do, and decided to try and upgrade.
The process was painful, I actually managed to brick the device, but later found out that it was recoverable, so I installed a Gingerbread mod.
Great graphics, love the interface, a few bugs, but okay.
Loaded comicrack, synced.. and I hate the ever present status bar......

So, tried another update, bricked again, but I was prepared. Reflashed and reloaded the 2.2 version.

Just curious to know what everyone else thinks about Gingerbread, and eventually ICS (which I have on my Nexus S) and what they'd recommend, considering the device is 99% a comic reader, and only occasionally a Fruit Ninja Machine for my girlfriend.
I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!
