The ad should not come every 3-4 pages. I will look into it for the next release.

You'd better not! I've just bought the paid version!

I haven't updated yet but here are some suggestions on making the ads less annoying.

I found the new pop up ads very annoying (in some instances they pop up every couple of pages) and figured I'd suggest something to make the ads a little less intrusive.

1. Pop up only when opening a new book. On average this should keep the ads popping up every 16-20 pages but it'll be less annoying since it'll pop up on the cover.

2. Automatically close the pop up on page transition. As it is I immediately close the ad once it pops up as it obscures the page. Combined with the previous idea, it'll stay up longer as in general I have no reason to see the bottom of the cover and sometimes I'll switch to the next book and just leave it there until I start reading again. Leaving the close button takes care of the few times I want to see the whole page.

I really don't think that $8 is that much for having the application available forever. Assistance is quite supportive and reported issues get handled. Since you've already read over a thousand pages, isn't it only fair to spend a few bucks to support the development of the application? Just remember, if he spend the same time working in a local supermarket he would've made more than he would have for development on this. I, for one, don't mind giving cYo a few beers for the most awesome reading experience I've ever had.
