I'm getting close to getting a new tablet. I have the original Note 10.1 & getting tired of its resolution. I'm thinking of going to the Galaxy S 10.5. Main use will be comics. What are y'all using (and liking) ?

I've got a Nexus 7 from 2 years ago and love it still. It can be sluggish at times, but for ComicRack it's just right.

I'm on an ancient Transformer TF101 from Asus. It's wonderful for ComicRack. Were I to upgrade I would probably only do so if I needed to, and at that point I would try to get one of the 12.2 inch displays.

:) Not quite that ancient, but I did purchase it in July 2011. So it's just under four years old. That's positively neolithic by computer standards. Nice thing is I think you can get them on feeBay for under $100, but they're stuck at Android 4.0.3 ICS.

Ok, I've had the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 for a few days and it's the best I've ever had for reading comics. For reference I started on the original iPad, got a Xoom when it came out, then have been using the original Galaxy 10.1 for the past couple years.
I hate to admit but I've always had a bit of secret jealousy towards iPads, even though on balance I want the flexibility that Android provides. I like tricking out my homescreen and customizing things, which you can't do on iPad. But I've always chafed at my Android tablets not being as skinny or as fast to change screens/orientation.
This Tab S cured my jealousy completely. It's just as zippy as any iPad I've used, the screen is amazing, and I got it for $398 at Amazon (white model was $100 cheaper than the titanium!) so way cheaper than an Ipad. It comes with 16gb and will supposedly take up to a 128gb card (I'm just using my old 64gb which holds more than I can conceivably read on any trip).

Oh, and it came with 3 free months of Marvel Unlimited!

My only knock against it is I can't find any pretty cases for it, so I guess I have a bit of Apple jealousy still on that score.

My trusty Motorola Xoom V1, my first tablet I bought just for reading comics, I've had a Nexus 7 2012 which was killed by lolipop and now on an Asus Memopad 7 inch, very nippy and good on battery too. I fancy the Galaxy 10 inch next when my Xoom eventually expires, its still running ICS with none of the later bugs in later Androids... only ctiticism is its metal case is raather heavy.

Using a TF700 now for a few years, up from a TF101. The rez upgrade was great, but the tablet itself is pretty sluggish. Been thinking about a Nexus 9, but I think i'd prefer something larger not smaller.

Seems to be a lot of love for the Galaxy Tab in here. May have to look at one.
