Many eComics appear blurred to me and the lettering is also not sharp. The quality of these eComics is at par with others, which are quite readable and sharp.

Does the quality change, or are the same pages ALWAYS blurred?

I saw this with the first version. The quality would blur and get worse with each page change then the app would ultimately crash. This hasn't happened since version 1.02 or so.

What happens is that when memory gets low I load smaller versions of the image. I should put some notifictation out in this case so the user is not wondering what happened.

I think the version where you fixed the thumbnails is the one that corrected this issue for me.

No, some pages are ALWAYS blurred. And, actually, these are not a few pages, but the entire eComic is affected. Other eComics are quite nicely readable. There is nothing different among these books. All are CBZ. Good quality Minutemen scans. (can't divulge further due to forum rules). It seems to me that this is related to the processing of the books during the sync. I'm unsure...

I really wish there was some solution for this problem, as atleast half the books (about 25 out of 50) that I synced are blurred on my phone. I also notice that they have a blurred thumbnail in the main library view on the phone. So in this way I can predict as to which ones are going to look blurred while reading.. :(

I think I know whats happening. These are books with a scanned image hight >= 2048. And your device only seems to have 24 MB per app (thats not the total memory but what the system gives the app). In this case the pages get downsampled.

I will up the limit a little bit and hope that that fixes the quality without you running into memory issues.

Yes I can confirm this: the dimensions of the individual JPGs are 1440 x 2218

With v1.12, this bug is now resolved, and the pages are crystal-clear sharp on little devices also. Thanks cYo! :-)
