Hello,

Just updated my tf700t to official jelly beans and i get a fc as soon as I run CR. It closes instantly so i can't even send an error report.
If i reinstall it works but exiting the app leads to the initial described behaviour.

Please advise

seeing as the dev is an absentee, I'll do his job for him partly.
If I delete the comicrack.ini file the app loads up just fine. On each subsequent start up, it crashes due to the same file.

A fix would be nice but am I expecting too much?

Usually I wait if there's a follow up. Especially for stuff that seems only to not work for one user.

Does it make a difference in which folder comicrack.ini is in. The file is created in the folder you set as your comics folder.

No. I've already tried moving the comics folder but with same result.
I also tried changing permissions on the file but crashes again.

Did you send the crash report?
Can you show me the content of the generated ini file?

I have sent the odd report, yes, but usually it crashes out too quickly to do anything.
Contents of .ini is as follows
Unsure how to send log.

Did you try to install/reinstall the app.
I can really think about nothing that can lead to a crash with the file. And I did not find anything in the crash reports.

Yes, I have even tried a factory reset of device but no change. I think I may just have to get Tasker to auto delete the .ini file on every shut down - bit annoying!

Hi.

I am currently having the same issue on an Acer Iconia A500 with the latest Cyanogenmod.

The app crashes when exiting--either when the tablet is turned off, or if I use Quit through the app menu.

If I go into settings > apps > manage apps and delete the cache, it still FCs. If I delete all data associated with the app, it no longer FCs, but it re-scans the library and all my settings are lost.

In my non-professional opinion, it seems that CR isn't saving the settings upon exit for whatever reason (just a theory).

Some things I can try out on my end:
-- Revert to an ICS rom, since Cyanogen isn't an official ROM. (I'd rather not do this, since I like the improvements made to JB)
-- Wipe the various caches on my tablet (Dalvik, etc.) I'll try that when I get home.
-- I'll replicate the crash and actually send in a report.
Hope this information helps!
