Hi all,

I updated my phone last week to android 6.
Before doing this, everything was working fine.

Since then, CR is no more able to write comics to the SD card during synchronisation.
What is weird, is that I can select the folder on the SD card and I can even create a new folder on it from CR settings.
But sync fail.

If I select intern memory, comics are synced correctly before I run out of space...

Anyone have this issue too?
Or better: a workaround?
Thanks.

A.

couple of work arounds have been discussed before. I'd recommend moving the comicrack program to your SD card. Then you can select the folder that is is installed in (ExtSD/android/data/comicrack/files?) as your primary to sync and it should work. You can still select other folders if you want to manually copy the files over and have CRA read them.

Thanks for the tip.
I reinstalled CRA directly on SD card and moved the default folder to SD card.
Now, I have only one comic that sync correctly (means that this is not a problem of writing to the SD card).
After that, sync simply stop.
On server side I can see "Error during read" every time I try to sync.

Is there an error log file somewhere on the Android side that can help me to solve this?

I'm putting this post on hold.
I will check before if it isn't a problem of bad/dying SD card.

I get error during read all the time while trying to do a wifi sync. it is usually just a timeout issue between your two devices. try syncing via usb on a small smartlist first. it will tell you if it is your SD card.

Well, don't forget this problem appears to me since I updated to Android 6, and only if I put the sync folder on my SD card.
Means, that it doesn't happen if I stock comics on the internal flash.

For now I want to remove the eventuality of a hardware problem: if my SD card is dying and if writing to it fails, it could explain read timeout.
I'm looking for an other micro SD to test, because fdisk on my actual SD card shows nothing wrong.
