I have most of my .cbr converted into .cb7 to support the metatags natively inside the comi files.
But in order to read them I need to, I guess, convert them using comicrack for windows.
problem is it will not connect. I open comicrack for windows, and on the android. Connect the usb and goto device. But problem is it never detects my tablet.

I have the acer, iconia a500
I'd appreciate some help because right now the only way I can read those .cb7 is by converting them and plugging in a usb->mini sd

First step is always: Can you browse to your comic folder in explorer. If this is the case, start comicrack and look if comicrack can find the device.

Also your comic folder has to be in the first 3 levels of your device.

yes. explorer works fine..
I'm guessing it has to do with my directory.. Which is on the sd card.

Is it going to be possible later to have more than 3 levels?

ComicRack recognizes my A500 with no problems. I wouldn't think your directory structure has anything to do with whether or not ComicRack on Windows can see the tablet. My comics are on my SD card, as well, at mnt/external_sd/Comics. I just synced several smart lists with no difficulties.

same issue is happening... And I wanted to test it out on another android device (samsung phone)
but found another problem. You can't go straight to /mnt/[sd], you have to use /mnt/sd/external_sd/Comics..
If its limited to a 3 folder structure it might be nice (later) to have more flexibility.

My a500 gets detected, but I received this error instead when syncing devices

It was working fine yesterday, I've already uninstalled and installed comic rack on a500 and my laptop
But I'm still getting the same error.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Nevermind, got it working now for some reason.
Had to restart a500 again and I can even use wifi sync with my laptop thru Connectify since I'm on college LAN.
