I've been using the paid for app on my nook color and its pretty darn good, however i can't get wireless sync to work, is it a case of that i have to use a usb to pair it first? if so then this is an issue as my nook cable is long gone, and to get a new one is expensive (I'm in the UK), if it isn't the case is there a way in which i can get round my issues? basically the comic rack app can't see the device at all,

can i fugde the config file to list the device manually?..

Apart from that if you want a perfect cheap comic reader i'd use a nook, got mine for £150, and its really fast for comicrack.

How are you keeping your Nook charged without the cable?

You don't need the proprietary Nook cable to connect it via USB. You can use any Micro USB cable which can be had cheap (£1) if you don't already have any.

The charger for my mobile uses micro-usb so i can charge it overnight with that, (as long as i turn the device off.).. I used a microusb data cable from a htc.. but i jsut didn't work got nothing when plugged into the PC, as if its not recognised as a device.

At the moment I just remotly copy ecomics over via wifi, using a a file manager, its quick enough, but it would be nicer to use syncing.

Weird, I'm specifically using a HTC cable too. It's connected via it right now in fact. Windows doesn't recognize the Nook but turning on USB storage on it works fine.
