This is what I need. Show at top level just one (1) icon per comic collection. When tapped, open the collection and list all comics in that.

My problem, the only ways I can make this work are:

1. Name all comics in one collection as Any Collection Name 01, Any Collection Name 02, Any Collection Name 03, ...

2. Create a folder named Any Collection Name and adding all comics in that folder but name them 01.cbz, 02.cbz, 03.cbz, ...

The problem, lots of time the comics have individual different names but they are part of the collection. As an example let me use the French comic Asterix. The individual books are named:

1. Asterix the Gaul
2. Asterix and the Golden Sickle
3. Asterix and the Goths
4. Asterix the Gladiator

How should I name the files in order for comicrack (for Android) still see them as a unique collection (so it stacks them) WITHOUT loosing the individual book names?

Currently not.

As CRA currently still lacks editing abilities.

If you sync the comics with CRW you would name them in CRW all with Series "Asterix" and give them appropriate titles.

I guess in the Windows version, it will be the 'Series Group' field that you will use as Asterix. Hopefully, in later Android releases, we will get this field for organizing .

Thanks for the reply. I don't see why we need editing capability for this, just allow us to organize things in folders and respect the folder structure (have a look at komik and/or perfect viewer on the android market).

I think in this case it will not be series group as these are all issues in the "Asterix" series :)

And Series Group is currently not used by the CRA version.
Stack is always by "Series" in CRA.

@bsinclair:
ComicRack is no file browser. It uses meta data all the other "dumb" readers are not using.
So if you do not want to use CRW to set the data you can switch to folder view and have each folder displayed separately.

OK, but I could found no way to set to folder view. How we do it?

Select the folders list on the first screen (or the left sidebar on the tablet) via the drop down.

Thanks, found it and it works, after some tweaking. I can't use this for the book names:

1. Asterix the Gaul
2. Asterix and the Golden Sickle
3. Asterix and the Goths
4. Asterix the Gladiator

As comicrack removes the numbers and sort by name, messing the order of reading. Had to use like:

x1 Asterix the Gaul
x2 Asterix and the Golden Sickle
x3 Asterix and the Goths
x4 Asterix the Gladiator

Then comicrack think it is part of the name and sort according.
