I have been trying to get wifi sync working with my android tablet. I have the full paid version of comcirack and I'm running virtualbox on my mac (setup with the help of the awesome tutorial on this forum).

is this even possible?

Any pointers or help would be very much appreciated. or even a another tutorial (hint hint)

Do you realise that VirtualBox gives the virtual machine a DIFFERENT IP to the one on your Real world host machine? you need to go into a commandline and type ipconfig to get the ip of your virtualbox windows machine. You'll probably have to allow Comicrack in your windows firewall too.

Cheers, I'm going to enjoy my new tablet for a few days and then hit it again next week. When I work out a solution I'll post it back here.

with VirtualBox, I would probably have changed the Network Mode to Bridged so that Windows had direct access to your Macs network card and would have had the same IP address. Not sure if it would work, but it would seem more conducive to working. worth trying anyway
