So I have d/loaded the free Cloud Reader onto my new iPad and Win XP Desktop and am very keen to get my super Comic Rack comics copied onto my iPad.
How on earth it it done, folks?

in iTunes, go to the Apps page for your iPad, at the bottom you should see File Sharing with a list of apps, select Cloud Reader and drag the files you want into the pane to the right.

I use Comic Flow on iPad, but the process is essentially the same.

Many thanks, Wedge for your very helpful advice...however a problem still remains. I found that the comic that I wanted to read on my iPad needed to be copied onto my desktop and then I was able to drag and drop it into my Cloud Reader. Simply dragging it directly from Comic Rack's Library didn't work.
Then, having confirmed that it had reached my iPad I was unable to open it and read it. I could see a a message on the iPad screen telling me that "1 Book Selected" and I could see its title above but was unable to open it. Sucks!
If you've no further suggestions perhaps the time has come for me to buy Comic Flow?
Any particular reason why you chose that reader above all others?

If I recall, ComicFlow is free. pretty sure I tried Cloud Reader first and abandoned it.

you can right click the issue you want and show it in Explorer, so you don't have to go to desktop first.
the 2iPad script would probably be your best bet, especially if you are prepared to shell out for ComicZeal instead of Flow. I think somebody may have got it to work with that, but its a bit trickier since Comic Flow has webdav instead of FTP

Still puzzling, Wedge. Installed Comic Flow, and tried to drag my CBW file from ComicRack's selection onto the ComicFlow Documents section. Then sync'd it, but when looking on my iPad's Comic Flow screen, nothing appeared.
Any further thoughts before I gamble on Comic Zeal?

if the files synced, and they show up in the right pane of the apps window in iTunes, try hitting the settings button in the top right of Comic Flow and choosing Update Library or Regenerate Library. I've had that happen every so often where they don't show up immediately

Yes...I tried that but it didn't produce anything. Just tried again whilst writing this. Baffling and disappointing. Most grateful for your input anyway.

try changing the name of a comic file from within that pane in iTunes and then refresh in Comic Flow, see if it shows up.
try adding another file, and regenerating again
try quitting the app and relaunching it

Thanks for those suggestions, Wedge.
No progress however. When I tried renaming a pop-up warned me that would make the file unstable. Adding another file still didn't effect the crossover even though the tiny 'busy signal' on the iPad whirled around, nothing appeared and even uninstalling/re-installing the app didn't crack it either.
Looks like I'm going to have to try another app altogether. Pity.
