I have been having this problem for a few years but of late its been happening to more comics. Some comics sync with a few pages broken and freezes comicrack when i read them, the original file doesnt have the same issue (no broken pages).

Setup:
Windows Home Server 2011
Comicrack PC
Android App (paid)
Wifi sync

Anyone else experience this? I can share screenshots as well.

I've seen this thread, but not having a clear idea of the problem, i haven't answered yet. Take the following as a longshot.

1) What file format are the affected files? PDF by any chance?
2) What sizes? Specially large/small than others that sync correctly?
3) Does it happen to the same file every time, or is it random? (ie, the same file, if sync'ed again, will be fine?)
4) Can you run memtest+86 for a while (an hour or so) without issues?

Hi,thanks and sorry for not adding more details.

1. Cbr files only
2. 30-50mb
3. Same file, however if i manually copy the file over there is no issue
4. Will try the mem test out

Just a test, install 7zip, and in comicrack.ini change the line
; Use7ZipExe = false
to

Use7ZipExe = true

(remove the ; and change false to true), and try to sync again. I am not 100% sure if comicrack will detect the 7zip exe on the default installation, if you see no change, copy the 7z.exe file from the 7zip default installation folder into the comicrack folder.

This is just to see if the problem comes from the compression dlls used.

Also, open the affected file with 7zip and test the decompress from there.
