Is there an easy way to delete single pages of a CBZ (like ads, fan letters and so on) and sync the changes back to Windows?

You can mark the page as deleted in Android (center tap to bring up strip view, long tap on page then select "Deleted".
In Windows, create a smartlist using this script

comicrack.cyolito.com/user-forum/9-featu...eted-pages-smartlist

you can set it to find all books where pages are marked as "Deleted". To get rid of the pages permanently, export the file making sure the option is set to remove the deleted pages.

et voilà

Sadly this is not working. I deleted the files in Android and confirmed that by not showing them in Android anymore. I then moved the comics manually to the windows shre, startet comic rack for windows, checked the export settings (yes, remove deleted pages is set) and exported them to the same filename. All deleted pages still show up :(

What am I doing wrong?

Are you not synchronizing from CRW to CRA (either via wifi or USB)?

Not so far. I only wish to have a small subset of my comics on my reader and I have not read myself into the possible ways to achieve this with sync. But still there should be no difference in moving the files frm the reader to windows in regard of deletion of "deleted" pages? Which simply does not work :(

No idea about moving files manually. Setting up sync really isn't too difficult, and becomes really useful once it's been set up. And I can confirm that deleting pages this way works, as I use it daily to remove scanner credits.
I'm guessing CRA doesn't actually write info into the .cbr and .cbz files, so when you transfer them over manually, CRW has nothing to pick up.

I have paired now my tablet but I have no idea how to tell ComicRack now to sync all read comics from my tablet back to Windows. And how are the "deleted" pages then deleted?
