I just tried this method out but im not sure if it's working correctly.
I putted a few random comic book and this is the result:
dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4068535/comicrack/Book%20List.csv Booklist.
dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4068535/comicrack/folder.pdf Folder tree

I have to edit my post because i don't know if it's possible to split the library across partitions.
Right now my comics is on an external hard drive but I want to move them to my internal hard drive because there is no more space on the external. At first i tought i just create 3 stand alone library database. And put each one to a partition. But i think this is dumb. I have to start 3 different comic rack shortcut. And very inconvenient. So can i use only one database and the books splitted to different partiton on the hdd?
I want to split dc and marver comics.
If it can be done how am i supposed to do that?

Thanks for this. It's helped get more organized. However, I'm having a problem with the Proposed Values section. When I choose to commit the proposed values the books remain in that smart list. I took a look at the smart list and the filter for 'User Scripts' has 'None' selected. Am I missing a user script?

this is probably bad forum etiquette, but I found it in the Organizer PDF file:

Thank you for doing so much work for everyone it has been a huge help!

I was wondering if there is another way to distinguish main series from limited series.. right now it is based on count, (which has to be put in manually?) which makes an series a limited series that is completed. This is mostly for marvel and dc but it is a huge pain to try to figure out which is actually a limited series and what is not. Thanks for any help!

I was going through the guide to see if I can get it up and running, so far so good!

I had a question about the smart lists. On page 18 of the guide, for #7 - Data Manager, under the columns in data view, I am unable to find the Custom fields field. Do I have an older script or is there a way to create the custom fields field?

Thanks!

From the manual (6th ed, page 57):

"The Info dialog for the fileless comics contains an additional tab labelled Catalog. This is optionally also available for normal comics too. Another optional tab is the Custom tab, which can be turned on by checking the relevant option from the Preferences dialog (Behavior tab -> Application section).....
....
....Yes, the catalog tab can be used with all your comic books, and is not just limited to fileless comic entries. However, by default, it is active only for fileless entries. Open the Preferences dialog and go to the Behavior tab. From the Application section/sub-tab, uncheck the Show catalog fields only for fileless comics field."

First off, thanks for this guide, it's brilliant.

Secondly, after spending a few hours messing about with profiles and things, I came across the folder in your download marked Resources. This contained the profiles I assume you were showing in the guide.
Is the 01 Main Series profile supposed to be empty? Or should it be as shown on page 11 of the guide?

Thanks again, sorry if I've 'nubed up' this a bit...

EDIT: FORGET IT! It was the folders configured in the Library organizer profiles.

Hi!

I'm trying to run the last step (Library Organizer), but it is failing. Looking the error report, it seems that the script is trying to move the files to a drive that not exist in my pc (E:\Scans). Am I missing something??

Please could somenoe take a look at the attached image and help me??

Thanks!
