I think this is the nail in the coffin for comicrack. I use it extensively to sync and read my books, but I do believe it's not 64-bit (please correct me if I'm wrong). Is there any effort to try to rebuild another comics tool like this one anywhere? I'd love to help out, but don't know how to code very well.

Beat me to it. ComicRack for iOS is for sure still 32-bit.

Apple's also doing the slow clean up of the App Store, where if the application hasn't been update recently it goes on the chopping block. I'm actually surprised ComicRack for iOS has lasted this long in the store. It hasn't been touched since 2014. I think the original dev. abandoned it? I forget what the deal was. Either way this app's days are number for working on iOS.

Sure would be nice if it could get picked up by other willing devs that have already volunteered on these formus. *prays to cYo* I'd even be willing to pay for it again.

This probably won't come till iOS 11.

Only thing that's still keeping me with ComicRack is sync unread with desktop.

In terms of effort to rebuild another comic tool, there was some intent from user mcpierce in the Home Server Library-Thread to get people together to start a project.

Right.. 10.3 changed the warnig saying 32-bit apps won't be supported in "future versions" which probably means IOS 11.

We had somebody on here that wanted to take it over. I hope cYO gets with them and lets them take it over and update it to 64 bit.

I really hope that we will see an updated version. It probably entails more than just recompiling the sources against a 64 bit profile. If any significant effort is required to build a new version, i wouldn't mind paying some extra for a new version. I already paid for the windows, android and the iOS versions before, and to this day am still very happy with my purchase.
