JMO on the icon colors. Make the square a light, soft blue or similar type of grey shade. Would look very nice. Add the shine and add something to give it some depth.

App photos and colors look great.

To give an example, when I'm reading a book in CRiOS, even at the minimum brightness, it is bright enough to be easily read. Now when I'm done reading the book & go back to the library, it suddenly feels so dark as if a bulb got fused, and I feel like turning it off.
I really don't know if any 'under-the-hood' changes have been made to the app's brightness levels, but with this 0.9.28 version, I no longer experience what I have quoted above. The library view is quite well lit. I am very happy. :)

p.p.s. I think this is an illusion created by the presence of the listbar thumbnails. Maybe the listbar letters have been made more bright.

p.s. @crios: Am I hallucinating this, or have the brightness levels for the library been really altered?

my 5 cents on 0.9.28: looks nice and complete now aside from the app icon background color. Congrats (+ Karma) to crios for an excellent IOS app.

Yes it get's close now. It is now feature complete for 1.0.

Next steps will be a slight reworking of how hiding/showing of the library sidebar works, some layout and look changes of buttons and refinements of icons.

Just a few iterations left in beta I think :)

I have to say that I personally don't like the new icon. I preferred the old black one as it looked much slicker and fitted more with the colour scheme within the app.

Also I think that the info and ratings buttons in the reader were better placed next to the thumbnail as they were more easily accessible (especially info).

However otherwise I agree that the app is great :)

I agree. The new icon is horribly ugly.

You can just tap the thumbnail & the info box will pop up. So, equally accessible still, but with less buttons. Slick, this. ;)

I think the thumbnails in the library view must get some shadow/effect/gloss.

Also, the rating stars badly need some re-touch. I think that the unrated stars must be even less visible.

Stacks are too mechanically designed (also in CRA). Stacks should be as in CRW:

Also, we have to have the ComicRack logo somewhere; CRA has it at the top left of the header & at the bottom of the list bar.

The background color of the list bar/sidebar of CRA is not jet-black (as now in CRiOS) and I think that's a good thing. CRiOS colors needs some subtlety. Similarly, also compare the 'subtle orange' (e.g. color of the list selected in the list bar) of CRA with the 'in-your-face' orange of CRiOS.

And then, looking closely at the above screenshot, we can see that the listbar/sidebar is in front of the header but behind the footer. I think it should have the same position both with regards to the header and the footer.

I didn't realise you could do this, thanks :)

Is this a new feature for this build or has it always been like this?

New feature. :-)

The lesser the buttons, the better the app! Unless it is on Android, that is...;-)

Hm, only I think that a cover thumb is too large "button" for this? :)
But it's true, I'm the only one who likes the new app icon, so... :)
