I think all these are good moves.

Better than the previous, but still a far way to go...

I agree that these are all good changes.

However I preferred this as it was. Being able to just tap the settings icon and adjust brightness right away was much better than going into display settings.

I also agree that adding the file/library size information is a good idea and much needed.

As we're really closing in now to the 1.0 version here are a few points that will be addressed in the next days. If someone has other points, now it the time to speak up (and remember this is for the 1.0 release - bigger and grander ideas will get into later versions :)).

So stuff that will still make it into 1.0:

* Handling CBZ/CBR files from mails/browser/dropbox etc.
* Open appropriate stack when continuing reading
* Update of stack display (basically like in CRA)
* New icons for categories
* Better pinned handling for the sidebar
* Reworking of the sync/reload button into own subview

Stuff that has to wait:

* Bookmarks
* Auto rotate of double pages
* Goto function
* Swipe to change lists

I would say that the stack indicator image needs improvement.

Going back to the library from the reader could be made smoother.

The context menu button (that appears when you tap & hold) is a bit too small.

Also needed is some sort of tagging in CRW as to which books have been synced.

Other than these minor things, I think the app is ready. :-)

Does it include SMB(local network) access? For me it would be a killer feature

I'm not sure if this is new in this version, but the way CRIOS handles rotating and single/double pages is kind of annoying now.

When I get to a double page, I always rotate the iPad and read them, move to the next page and rotate back. Since it now shows two single pages next to each other in landscape view, though, when I rotate the iPad back to portrait mode, it skips to the second of those single pages. So now I have to rotate the ipad back to portrait before moving on to the next page, and if the next page is another double I have to rotate it back.

It's no big deal, just annoying. :)
