I really didn't want to be the first one to use this section of the forums but I guess I will be...When I press "Pair with device" nothing shows up in the select device area. I've tried rebooting my ipad, restarting comicrack win, reset network settings, nothing has changed...hopefully I'm just doing something wrong

I'm on 6.0.1 because I just got the iPad and I was deciding if I wanted to jailbreak it and I don't think I'm gonna so I will bite the bullet and update and see if that fixes it. I hope for your sake that it doesn't

This is a router problem for the autodection and also not solved for the Android version.
You've to add the IP address of your IPad to comicrack.ini. This way you can pair and start synchs from the desktop.

Make sure there isn't a space in front of the string, that broke it for me. Worked as soon as I removed it. (And restarted CR)

Here's my .ini:
; Wifi Sync settings

; List of IP addresses for possible devices
; Note that every failed IP check has a 10 second timeout
ExtraWifiDeviceAddresses=192.168.1.158

I don't see any blank space before or after.
If it's the jailbreak I'll restore my ipad, not a problem.

If anyone has this issue that doesn't know how to edit the ini do the following:

Go to run and type "%appdata%" with no quotes, and look for a folder called cYo. If it doesn't do the same but type "%programdata%" (For me it was in appdata, mod could confirm where it should be)

Open that, and open the comicrack folder inside it and create a text file and write only this inside it
"ExtraWifiDeviceAddresses=192.168.x.x" (no quotes) but put in the IP of your iPad. If you don't know what that is go to settings-> wifi on your ipad, and click the little blue arrow next to your connection.

Restart ComicRack for windows and you should be able to Pair your devices, and the settings will persist through upgrades :D

(Yes I'm terrible at writing guides, but it should get the job done.)
