Windows 10 x64 bit
CRW 0.9.177
CRIOS 1.0.15
iPad 4, iOS 9.0.1
_________________________

I was able to successfuly sync two books to CRIOS yesterday. Today, I am trying to sync and many of my lists indicate "No Comic"

My smart lists are set to only include unread copies, so all of the empty lists should contain at least one book.

I have tried restarting my PC and iPad several times.

Removed the synced device from CRW and re-connected.

Any suggestions?

I've discovered that if I convert the comics to CBZ from within CRW, the files will sync to the iPad properly.

This is odd behavior, because the problem just started today. I moved files with no problem yesterday.

It's going to be a huge undertaking to convert everything - 5,624 book (213 GB).

I have always used a batch conversion to create .CBZ files from folders. Is there something wrong with the conversion maybe?
for /d %%X in (*) do "e:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" a "%%X.cbz" "%%X\"

I'm not familiar with 7zip command line options but assuming that it's archiving the files as zip with a cbz extension then it should be fine.

Can you open the cbz files in question on Windows and see if there's anything weird in them like another archive, thumbnail, db files or anything like that.

After syncing, can you see the files on your iPad with a file explorer of some sort? Just so we know if they're actually syncing and it's a format issue or if it's some sort of smartlist issue and they aren't even making it over.

The files stopped transferring to the iPad today. Nothing changed from what I have been using for the past year and a half, that I can think of.

Though, I notice that the ComicInfo.XML files never saved to my files before, and now they are there with the CRW converted files.

I'm adding links for the CBZ format that I have been using in the past, and the same book, converted in CRW to CBZ.

Tried to uninstall/reinstall?
You should not need to convert the comics to CBZ as the comics are converted automatically during transfer.

I haven't tried to uninstall yet, but do you have an idea why the xml was never writing to the file, until I converted from within CRW?

Please take a look at the two files I posted above.

The XML is in the files converted in CRW, and does not appear otherwise.

It could be that the original CBZ was just a CBR that they manually modified the extension to CBZ and did not actually convert it.

I've discovered that I can now get the XML file to appear within the CBZ with a new script.
for /d %%X in (*) do "e:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" a "%%X.zip" "%%X\"
ren *.zip *.cbz

What I'm now wondering, is can I extract the comics and repack them with the new script, and have CRW recognize it in the database?

I would convert in CRW, but the process is very slow for large files.
