Hi.
Some times comicinfo.xml don't read propertly if put new archive with comic. After that ComicRack put wrong information to stream, and refreshing can't help to copy info from comicinfo.xml to stream.
I found some solution if some need it. To clear stream information and force ComicRack reread it from comicinfo.xml i use streams.exe from sysinternals. Just download it from sysinternals.com and put at root folder of you comics and execute command streams.exe -s -d *.*.
That realy helps for me. I put all files in attachment.

Later i try to make some utility to just scan and directly copy comicinfo.xml to stream, but i not wery experianced to working wit strems. It can take some time.

I'd make it. But only for zip arhives, and work not so fast. But it do hat i need. Later i add rar support.

usage: crstreams.exe [/?][/s][/nx:<file name>][/ns:<stream name>][{/l}{/d}{/u}{/f}][<file or directory>]

/? - Help
/s - Recurse subdirectories
scan deep inside
/nx:<file name> - Setup custom file name to update streams
change ComicInfo.xml to <file name>
/ns:<stream name> - Setup custom stream name
change ComicRackInfo to <file name>
/l - List streams
list all streams atteched to files
/d - Delete streams
clean all ComicRackInfo streams
/u - Update streams
copy ComicInfo.xml from archive to ComicRackInfo stream
/f - Copy streams to files
extract all ComicRackInfo streams to normal files like filename.ComicRackInfo

File in attachment.

Add RAR support trouth unrar.dll. Can be downloaded from www.rarlab.com/
And litle increase speed by adding mask filter for archives.
I don't plan adding tar support now, but if somebody realy need this, i try.

you are right, there should be some way to clear/rewrite the streams. I'll look into it.
