Hi All,
I store my comic files on an external hard drive. Even though CR is set up to recognize and scan the specific folder on the external hard drive automatically, CR will still add every file to the DB as if new, and this Recently Added always shows the entire library instead of items I've just moved into those directories recently. If I open CR without the external drive, the library still appears, just all in red since the files are missing.

I have been using CR for (I believe) 5 years, and I don't think this issue happened in older versions (not sure how older, let's say older than 1 year ago)

Under File Scanning for Preferences/Libraries, I do have "Automatically remove missing files.." checked. In my case, should I turn this off? I always assumed this was not causing me issues because I still see my library when the hard drive is disconnected.

What happens if you erase your DB and have it scan from scratch again? I remembering having this issue, but I was able to resolve it. Just can't remember what option I used.

@loveit

is your collection in CBR or CBZ format? personally i would convert it all to CBR and ensure you have the write info to files checked, this could help sort out your problem. see screenshot

@adamf9898

have you tried changing your library path to the drive and not the net address, it might be double resolving the path.

eg. change to "G:\Comic Books"

Hope this helps you both.
